In the procurement of infrastructure project there is a variety of demands connected to social responsibility. The purpose from the Swedish Transport Administration with social consideration in the procurement of infrastructure contracts is to ensure that no one suffers damage in these contracts. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the function of model used by the Swedish Transport Administration to follow social considerations in their contracts. Which are the obstacles for a successful implementation and evaluation of social considerations in contracts? By improved evaluation of social considerations in infrastructure contracts the aim is to achieve societal benefits and to ensure supplier completion on equal terms. Further, the project aims at contributing to increased knowledge about social responsibility in general and in connection to public procurement.
